Build and Design

As most Latitude and Precision notebooks, Dell Precision refined M6300 is a simple "down to business " look. The chassis is absent, each user must be configured, for example, a painting personalized top cover, but companies are concerned about their personal equipment of these stations are not 't concerned about paint attractive jobs. Indeed, "the system envy " (if an employee is jealous of another worker 's Work Station) is something that most companies want to avoid ... and the simplicity of the M6300 exterior hides an impressive level of performance.

The simple "Look and Feel" is a voice even stronger and more durable chassis. During the examination, plastic or knarrt grince was heard. Indeed, even significant (excessive) force on the lid of the LCD cover flexible refused entire lower part of the hull is a metal alloy, the notebook a strong imprint on your office, and there is enough strength to resist, bending, if you use the laptop by the side of the palm walk through space. The only drawback was the chassis to the absence of a second hard drive bay ... unusual for a 17-inch Workstation. Given this fact, the chassis is hard enough to hurt your ankles when you try to punch, but not less than one millimeter Flex in the process.

The screen mat
WXGA + (1440x900) on the screen Dell Precision M6300 is absolutely beautiful. No dead pixels were found during the review and backlight bleeding, while in some dark screens was minimal. The colors were vibrant screen despite the mat and value-added screens mats, lack of reflection in an office environment. Viewing Angle large angle of the screen Look Sharp also strangely distorted angle. Backlight adjustment was very large, so I'm pretty low for the adaptation of parameters of the space dark and light enough to be legible sunlight or in a bright office.

Protection for the ; screensaver on the back cover prevents any chop, if you press the lid. The lever-lock and took place smoothly, unlike most castles budget Notebooks little effort required for release.

Speakers Speakers on the M6300 was better than the average for most laptops, comparable with loudspeakers, you will find on most televisions Midrange. While low lacked bass, the volume was strong enough, and distorting the peak signal was absent. In collaboration with 17 "-screen, it would not be difficult to maintain a small group of businessmen with a multimedia presentation during a meeting.

Keyboard and touchpad
The keyboard and the palm of force structure corresponds to the lower part of this group of laptop. Press you very solid, the keyboard suffers virtually zero flexible Handball is a publishing, as well as companies, support my wrists, elbows or down and press another key flexible

The keyboard is very comfortable enter, and has exactly the right amount of response for each key. Facts travel is comparable with most portable Business in one click a little less solid than what we hear on Thinkpads in our office. The keyboard is not close ever, and CTRL was in the right (extreme) position on the left side. An odd omission is the absence of a special series Pad. Most of the 17-inch Notebooks make sure that the need for additional space form factor broader and includes a series of Pad. During this isn 'ta big problem, some jobs of the company, where large quantities of data entry, the absence of a special series Pad very depressing.

The touchpad is appropriate to react, but could be improved. Lag was minimal, if every time, but the accuracy was less than perfect. The size of the tactile surface was large enough to command a comfortable and surface structure had a good feel mat. The three buttons touch spanned the full length of the touchpad, and each took one click to respond, if pressed. One thing which I am grateful to third tactile key was to facilitate the control of tabs in the Web browser.
